These motors cover a wide power range, from just a few watts for thrust vector control actuation and auxiliary lubrication pumps, to high-power applications up to 140 kW, such as engine cooling fans for armored vehicles.
We specialise in design-to-spec electromagnetic products such as Resolvers, RVDTs and Synchros for a wide variety of market applications including Aerospace, Space, Defence, Down Hole Drilling (O&G), Rail and Industrial. We vertically integrate our motor design capability into all of our other products which enables us to optimise performance and weight.
AMETEK Airtechnology has extensive expertise in the design, development and certification of electro-mechanical actuators for Aerospace and Defence. Our capabilities include electric linear, rotary and electro-hydrostatic actuators (EHAs), delivering custom-engineered, certifiable solutions tailored to the most demanding requirements.
